Try it, Play it! Find the instrument that inspires you and book a slot for our Instrumental Taster Lessons!

    Our Instrument Taster Lessons offer children (aged 7+) a fun and engaging opportunity to explore these brass instruments. These ten minute hands‑on sessions are designed to introduce young learners to different sounds, techniques, and playing styles, helping them discover which instrument inspires them the most.
    >

    Children can try a lesson in these instruments:
    >

    * Brass: Trumpet, Trombone

    * Woodwind: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone

    * Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello
    >

    During each taster, children will:
    >

    * Handle and try real instruments with guidance from our experienced music tutors

    * Learn how each instrument works and what makes its sound unique

    * Experiment with producing notes in a relaxed, encouraging environment

    * Ask questions and gain confidence before choosing an instrument to learn
    >

    Whether a child already shows an interest in music or is completely new to learning an instrument, these tasters provide a fun, low‑pressure way to help children and young people find the instrument they're most drawn to.
    >

    This event supports families in making informed choices about future lessons — and helps spark a lifelong love of music.
    >

    Each taster session is £5.00 and you'll arrive ten minutes before your allocated time for a briefing before you have your lesson. You won't need to bring anything along with you.
