NEW!  Song Writing Masterclass with David Austin
This tutorial is packed with useful exercises and tips and is a great way to get started creating a song for the Voices Rising Project. As well as being a music educator, Dave Austin is a songwriter and composer, his work has been used in television programmes all over the world and his songs have accumulated over 1.7 million streams on Spotify.







1-2-1 Music lessons at our Virtual Music School

We're delighted that we're now open for bookings for 1:1 online instrumental and vocal lessons using zoom as part of our new Virtual Music School. We hope this new delivery method will help pupils continue to learn and enjoy music at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. 


Priority booking will be given to those students who were learning with a Music Service tutor at Music School or at their Primary or Secondary school last term.

Bookings are for a 1 week trial or a 6 week block of lessons starting w/c 8th June

NEW!  Mini Musicians online courses

We have launched music courses for babies, toddlers and 4-6 year olds to enjoy at home via live video sessions on zoom.


The WFMS Tutor's Virtual Orchestra
Our tutors have formed a virtual orchestra from their homes and recorded Abdelazer Rondeau by Purcell for all to enjoy!

Waltham Forest Music Education Hub  (WFMEH) was formed in 2018 and is led by Waltham Forest Music Service (WFMS). 

We believe that every child in Waltham Forest should have access to a high quality music education. 

We’re committed to making sure children and young people have a music education that’s inspiring, enjoyable and fun and are provided with challenge and opportunities to progress.
