The concert is open to young musicians of any instrument (including singers) from beginner level to grade 8 to perform.
Waltham Forest Music Service is excited to announce an amazing progression opportunity for young musicians in Waltham Forest.
Players of wind, string, brass, or orchestral percussion instruments to at least grade 3 standard are invited to apply to take part in a full day of orchestral workshops led by the world-class BBC Symphony Orchestra.
• Takes place on: Saturday 18th April 10.00am-4.00pm
• At Willowfield School, E17 6ND
• No fees for families – fully funded
Applicants must be:
• At least Grade 3 standard or equivalent.
• Play one of these instruments: Flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp, trumpet, cornet, trombone, tuba, euphonium, French Horn, orchestral percussion.
• Between 11-18 yrs old.
Applications close on 16th March. We expect high demand for this fully funded opportunity and recommend applying as soon as possible. Places will be allocated on the basis of grade standard and balance of instruments.
