Our projects and events

We work with partners to create unique and diverse projects that inspire and develop young people's interest in music.

Take a look at our videos to find out more about some of our projects:

Sound Out, 2023

This project with London Sinfonietta brought together young people from Waltham Forest, Haringey and Enfield Music Services to explore how to compose and create music, hear musicians perform pieces by living composers and take part in Composition Challenges.

Together in Sound, 2021
Young people from schools across Waltham Forest took part in workshops with Chineke! musicians, led by composer James B. Wilson and music leader Rosie Bergonzi. Across a series of weeks they composed their own pieces, recorded them professionally, designed artwork and wrote programme notes, then premiered their music live at a sharing concert in November 2021. Together in Sound was a project in partnership with NMC Recordings, Chineke! Foundation, and Waltham Forest Music Hub.
